Thomas grew up in the Tipton area of Sandwell and married with six children Karen, Claire, Jacqueline, Adele, Thomas and Kayley. When we were small Dad was the one to learn us to ride our bikes and when we was old enough we would go for long bike rides along the canal and take a picnic for lunch. He was from a large family having three brothers George, Bill Wilfred and three sisters Maggie, Joan and May. He moved to Somerset when he was 54 and at 60 he was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophogus(gullet) which then spread to his liver. Before getting cancer he was a very fit man and had no health problems. He died at home with his family surrounding his bedside which was what he wanted. He is forever in our hearts and is spoken of fondly with great memories. It feels comforting that i still feel hm around now he still with us. Love forever and always Dad.

It has been nearly six years since you have been and you are still missed as if it was yesterday. We still miss that phone call every xmas morning with that jolly voice of yours saying 'Merry Xmas!'.
